I have enjoyed painting the human features from direct observation and imagination. The foundational lessons of the human physiognomy are absorbed and integrated in many exercises and executions, sometimes in representational style, at times in abstraction. Portraying the myriad emotions and feelings expressed in the face is an ongoing study.
